Zooomr – what’s good and what could be better: The story behind the creation and downfall of the ser

Kristopher Tate, a 17 year old at the time, originally started Zooomr as a place for him to share photos with his friends in Japan. The site was made so it could be viewed in both English and Japanese.

A couple of years ago a friend introduced me to a site where peoples photos were posted, many catagories of everything from animals to nature, beautiful photos. You could use any one of these photos to send as a postcard. Lost track of the site where he had posted some of his photos taken on a trip to alaska. He passed away, wonder if you know of site, can not find it. If you could help it is a site I recommend. Thankyou RHONDA

Zooomr – what’s good and what could be better

"As more entrepreneurs are starting online businesses, there is an increased demand for freelance website designers and developers who are capable of delivering attractive and functional websites at a lower price point than offered by larger agencies. If I could offer one piece of advice for those interested in pursuing this, it would be to build a couple websites for local businesses for free. This gives you a portfolio that you can use to sign new clients, and local raving fans of your work will provide priceless word-of-mouth advertising for you." -- Maxinder Soni, CEO of Zooomr

I agree with the above posters. Don't keep it on the shelf. Use it or sell it. I could even be interested if you are selling (my OM-2S has a meter problem), but it depends on where in the world you are.

The short answer is yes, but there are some restrictions. Check photonet's forum archives for the answer to that question. It's probably been answered 200 times in the past 5 years. Not knocking you, but you could answer your own questions by doing a little research first. Like the OM-2SP value question. Start on ebay's completed auction page and work from there. Also check KEH camera's used pages. (KEH.com)

There are an increasing number of new "social applications" as well as traditional application which either require the "social graph" or that could provide better value to users by utilizing information in the social graph. What I mean by "social graph" is a the global mapping of everybody and how they're related, as Wikipedia describes and I talk about in more detail later. Unfortunately, there doesn't exist a single social graph (or even multiple which interoperate) that's comprehensive and decentralized. Rather, there exists hundreds of disperse social graphs, most of dubious quality and many of them walled gardens. 2ff7e9595c
